If you wish to apply for the 2024 scholarship, application submissions will begin on November 1, 2024

A person who would qualify for this scholarship would need to play or sing to/with Traditional Irish music and embrace the following mission of TIAK:

Present, promote, and preserve Celtic music and culture by providing or participating in performances as well as educational workshops with local and visiting artists to further the knowledge and appreciation of the Celtic arts.

Application Requirements

  1. You must be between 10 and 18 years old to apply.

  2. We would like you to write a concise essay about your involvement with Traditional Irish music and what singing or playing music means to you.

  3. You need to provide a short video of you performing your favorite song/tune.

  4. If you are enrolled in an Irish usic School, please provide a letter of reference from your teacher.
